How does Inline Cold Foil work?

dgfdg

In the first printing tower, the adhesive layer is applied. A standard print plate is used to apply the adhesive layer onto the paper in the exact position where the foil needs to be. In the second tower, the foil adheres sharply and 100% durably to the adhesive layer. The contact-free sheet transfer within the machine with aerodynamic air conveyors and transfers guarantees a scratch-free and blemish-free production. The extremely accurate fit ensures the data for the foil can be prepared as an additional PMS colour. Colour printing starts from the third tower. The complete sheet, the unprinted and the metallic part, can now be printed. Dispersion varnish is applied as a protective layer.
Grafische Groep Matthys is the first company in the Benelux to work with this new technology. We have three years of experience of this specialisation that constitutes a signification innovation of the classic hot-foil printing/foil printing and makes it much more creative.
